This Privacy Policy explains how PerfectCaption (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the PerfectCaption mobile application (the “App”).

  • providing and operating the App and its features;
  • processing Subscriptions and verifying purchase status;
  • improving the App, including understanding which features are used and diagnosing performance or crash issues;

  • protecting the App, including preventing abuse, fraud, or misuse;
  • complying with legal obligations and enforcing our Terms of Use.

4. AI and content processing

To generate captions and other outputs, the App may send your prompts and related data to third-party AI infrastructure providers acting as our processors. These providers process your data on our behalf to deliver the requested functionality.

We recommend that you avoid including sensitive personal information in your prompts (for example, health, financial, or government ID details) unless it is strictly necessary.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

We may use analytics and crash reporting tools to help us understand aggregate usage trends and improve stability. These tools typically collect anonymized or pseudonymized information about app sessions, device information, and crash logs.
